Your story is compelling. I also am raising a granddaughter. She has ADHD and has suffered many losses in her life. She and her mom (my daugther) were in an accident when she was 4. Her mom died. Her dad is in prison. An adoption did not work out. I am retired and have diabetes, heart disease, etc. etc. Living on a fixed income and in debt, having helped my son (also with disabilities) with college expenses, our budget is so tight we have nothing left the last week of the month. I really feel compassion for you and hope your situation improves. What can we do for grandparents raising grandchildren? I know there are programs but I think my income is just above the limit for much help. Sharon
